  • Own engineering for three products: Saffron (web app live, native iOS in development), Crispy Duck (pre-launch) and the open-source lucide-extended.
  • Built Saffron's AI recipe import: users add a link, photo or YouTube video and get a structured recipe, normalised into one data model that feeds meal plans and grocery lists. Uses structured outputs with JSON schemas, tool use, vision/OCR, YouTube transcript extraction, and versioned, evaluated prompts.
  • Scoped Saffron as a meal planner, not a recipe book: recipes capture what to cook and when, not quantities or method. That kept the product simple and the build focused.
  • Built the data and auth layer on Supabase (Auth, Postgres with row-level security, Edge Functions, Storage, Realtime), with Google sign-in, Sign in with Apple, magic links and Clerk.
  • Set up billing and sales across products with Polar.sh, Stripe and StoreKit, and sell digital products through Gumroad.
  • Design and build interaction details, motion, and empty and loading states in React and SwiftUI, implementing the studio designer's Figma work and owning product trade-offs.
  • Building the native iOS app in SwiftUI with SwiftData, CloudKit, WidgetKit, Siri (App Intents) and Apple Intelligence.
